Who Am I?

Iqaluit Photographer, Mac Pavia, specializes in portrait & documentary photography. A graduate of Mohawk College's graphic design program, Mac has learned ways to integrate graphic design into photography, giving customers a unique edge with their photos. Hailing from Iqaluit, Nunavut, Mac discovered his passion for photography. He took pictures of the northern lights and soon started to explore other areas of photography, including landscape, portrait, product, and documentary-style photography. During his high school years, Mac developed his skills and eventually created Mac_visual. His clients have ranged from families to airlines and prominent national magazines. Currently, Mac is the 2022 territorial gold medal winner & national silver medal winner for skills Canada and a laureate for the 2022 Arctic Inspiration prize.
